Marianna Buffolino

Author Marianna Buffolino is a new and upcoming writer from New York. Her love for books that pull you into another world has given her the urge to begin writing herself. Marianna’s vision is to write stories that bring a mix of romance, suspense, and heat with a roller coaster of emotions, adding a touch of darkness. She prefers mixing alpha males with alpha females while peeling back their layers to reveal their weaknesses. Dramatics and twists and turns are also reflected in her writing.

As a daughter of Italian immigrants, Marianna has grown up with a rich background in her culture and speaks the dialect of her parents’ hometown back in Italy. Within her household, the language spoken was Italian, so her reliance on perfecting her English came from being in school. Growing up, the women in her family would watch soap operas to help them with their English, while Marianna was drawn to the drama and suspense, which became a guilty pleasure for her to watch. The more dramatic the better.

When her cousin took her to the public library for the first time, urging her to begin reading, it opened up a bigger world to explore beyond her surroundings and the TV screen. From there, she began reading several books once she found her preferred genre.

Traveling and anything that opens herself up to new experiences is something Marianna enjoys getting her mind running with imagination. She loves having brunch/dinner and drinks with her close friends just as much as she enjoys spending evenings at home cuddled up with her husband as they debate what to watch on Netflix.
